Records Information Management Practices ensure only necessary records (both digital and physical) are retained, while others are disposed of, at prescribed, regular intervals.

Who you are:

You are consistently looking for ways to improve your personal best and see value in continuous improvement. You take accountability for your actions and learn from mistakes
  • Collaboration – You work collaboratively with others with the common goal of driving positive results. Making meaningful contributions to your team to achieve organizational goals is a priority. You proactively encourage collaboration, build trust and inclusion, and work to establish effective relationships both inside and outside of the organization

What your day looks like:

  • Your efforts are Enterprise-wide and cross-functional, combining Data Management, Data Governance and Program/Project Management, to achieve outcomes through Records Information Management Practices at Aviso
  • Facilitate and manage the identification and destruction of records (both digital and physical), based on Aviso's Record Information Management (RIM) record destruction schedule using Aviso's RIM processes and procedures
  • Assist in the ingestion, cataloguing, classification, and categorization of all record classes across Aviso (using a best-in-class toolset – Collibra DIC)
  • Facilitate and Manage the Record Information Management Council (an internal governing body which reviews and approves record candidates for destruction)
  • Oversee and support the initiation and execution of record destruction activities through both internal and external partners
  • Confirm and collect proof of record destruction artifacts
  • Maintain our existing Record Inventory (and its associated artifacts)
  • Compose business friendly process flows and presentations that empower and inform enterprise stakeholders

Requirements

Your experience and skills:
