We are looking for hands on people, who have flexible availability and who love working with airplanes. We offer a great paid training program. This role would report directly to the Ramp Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Become person of accountability for each arrival and departure

  • Lead ground handling operation on a daily basis

  • Meet frequently with Ground Ops Manager to review operational and personal performance

  • Ensure all agents are briefed on their anticipated roles

  • Ensure all ground equipment is operational and provide a back-up plan for unserviceable equipment

  • Record daily operations for billing / invoicing

  • Ensure each airline procedures are followed in line with the rules and regulations of Transport Canada

  • Drive and operate ramp serving equipment, marshal/wing walk aircraft to gate

  • Sort, load and offload guest baggage in accordance with load plan, deliver guest baggage to claim area and unload onto conveyor system

  • Services aircraft water and lavatories

  • Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove/dispose of when found

  • Report all equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor

  • Grooms aircrafts – clean whole cabin, lavatories, restock lavatory with supplies

  • De-icing aircraft and recording deice fluid applications for billing / invoicing and auditing

  • Provide daily vehicle inspections

  • Other tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-year ground handling experience

  • Possess a valid restricted area pass and AVOP (D/A)

  • A positive individual with the ability to lead a team

  • Have a record of safe working habits and personal on-time performance

  • Has displayed great leadership skills, or an interest in learning

  • Has successfully completed all required airline training programs
