Graphic Designer
We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Team on a 7 month contract.
This exciting role is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic, creative and focused team to highlight and build the Nature's Fare Markets brand! This is a full time temporary contract position for 7 months starting in June of 2024.
This is also a rare opportunity to bring your graphic design experience to work in beautiful Vernon, BC. where our head office and creative team are located. This position is a resident role that requires attending our office in Vernon so candidates must be located within daily driving distance of Vernon.

- $50,000 - $60,000k per year (prorated over the 7 month term)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Working with creative briefs to produce print-ready and digital artwork.
Ensuring design and production standards are met on a consistent basis.
Providing hand-sketched or computer aided concepts, mood boards and taking projects from concept to completion within tight deadlines.
Providing copywriting for projects and proofing for accuracy.
Sourcing images from stock as well as providing layouts for photography.
Giving art direction to internal and external partners.
Supporting your team with brainstorming and design.
Providing direction for internal and external partners on brand guidelines.
Capturing and creating photo and video assets for social media.
REQUIREMENTS:
A post-secondary diploma or degree in Graphic Design.
3-5 years of work experience in graphic design and production.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Sound knowledge of design, typography, photography, and printing processes.
Experience in digital design including email, website, and social media.
Demonstrated conceptual and creative abilities.
