The IT System Specialist is responsible for maintaining and upgrading all IT related items. This position requires high attention to detail and confidentiality as well as a proactive mindset.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install, configure, and maintain system hardware and software throughout company.
• Assess, diagnose, and resolve IT system and equipment performance issues.
• Create and manage service requests and incidents from staff through the on-line ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues via phone, remotely, and in-person.
• Provide technical guidance, support, and training to staff.
• Oversee the performance of LANs, WANs, Internet, and other network segments.
• Repair printers, laptops, desk-tops and other PC hardware equipment.
• Conduct onsite training for clients as required.
• Assist with on-going employee desk position changes, additions and changes to computer requirements.
• Identify and suggest possible improvements to current procedures.
• Creating technical SOPs and troubleshooting guides.
• Create user accounts, resetting passwords adding and removing computers from the Active Directory.
• Cell phone distribution to employees and provide ongoing support.
• Monitor systems to identify potential errors and areas for improvement.
• Provide satellite office support to multiple locations.
• Provide back-up support to the primary IT specialist.
• Assist with other IT related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Computer Systems Technology Diploma or equivalent education required.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience required.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL ABILITY

- Ability to exert up to 22.7 kg of force
