JOB SUMMARYOur client, a global Pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to join their exceptional team. The incumbent must be a seasoned Supply Chain professional with exceptional leadership skills. They will be responsible for leading the organization's supply chain, customer service and outsourced logistics operations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Spearhead Customer Service Transformation initiative for enhanced customer experience
- Develop performance metrics for change management assessment
- Lead and mentor Customer Service team
- Resolve customer service issues with root cause analysis
- Collaborate with departments to integrate logistics with business processes
- Manage third-party logistics providers for optimal efficiency
- Ensure inventory accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness
- Monitor delivery requirements and transport costs for cost-efficiency
- Ensure carrier compliance with company policies
- Identify and manage KPIs for customers, warehouse, and transportation
- Review and approve distribution invoices
- Develop supply chain strategy for improvements in procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory management
- Enhance S&OP process for better forecast accuracy and customer service levels
- Conduct daily supply chain team meetings and weekly CLT operations meetings
- Guide and develop supply chain associates
- Facilitate change management activities for adoption of Supply Chain KPIs
- Manage vendor contracts, negotiations, and compliance
- Collaborate with Regulatory team for process compliance
- Optimize inventory projections and safety stock requirements.
- Minimum 10 years in pharmaceutical or consumer goods industry with 2 years managing Operations function with direct reports
- 5+ years Customer Service experience; experience managing a customer service team
- Bachelor's degree required
- Demonstrated ability to develop, execute and deliver operational strategies
- Successful track record of leadership in similar roles
- Entrepreneurial and hands-on mindset
- Knowledge of direct to customer, retail/wholesale pharmaceutical-specific customer service is required
- Logistics designation or ASCM certification
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory environment (Health Canada)
- Proficient in standard logistics software, MS Outlook, Excel, Oracle, SAP, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong change management and time management skills
- Ability to travel to internationally
