Primoris Canada is an industrial contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.

SUMMARY

Primoris is looking to hire an experienced business development professional who will be focused on our Tank service line and will be responsible for the engagement and relationship development of new and existing customers resulting in an increase in sales revenue for API 653, API 650 & 620 Tanks.

Location: Calgary, AB - Remote

JOB DUTIES

  • Proactively engage and drive the Sales Process.
  • Document sales activity in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Participate in business unit coordination meetings.
  • Regular travel to client locations to develop rapport and gather market research.
  • Understand, identify, and position Primoris to access ideal opportunities within its core competencies.
  • Assist in the development of win-win contracts between Primoris and Key Accounts.
  • Jointly accountable for achieving strategic objectives for the business unit.
  • Host learning sessions for both internal and external stakeholders to position as an industry expert.
  • Provide support for the development of promotional materials for clients.
  • Support positive exposure through approved social media campaigns.
  • Various other duties as requested by management.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Related equivalent experience or Post-Secondary degree/diploma in business, sales or marketing
  • 5+ years of sales experience in Storage Tank related field

SKILLS

  • Technical experience (API 653 Inspector Certification) is an asset, but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of petrochemical, oil & gas, or engineering construction industries preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the Project life cycle.
  • Self-motivated and demonstrates the ability to initiate new client engagement.
  • Proactive and confident.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills; experience with estimating software.
  • Highly organized and able to coordinate multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
