The product team at When I Work is responsible for developing the vision, product, and go-to-market strategy for the company. When you join this team, you will work with customers as well as marketing, sales, finance and engineering to identify, build, and bring new features and products to market. What You'll Do

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for understanding our users, solving hard problems, and guiding our Customer Acquisition Team (CAT) to optimize WIW's product for users by reducing friction at sign-up, improving early product understanding, and streamlining conversion flows. The CAT team at When I Work is a Product Led Growth (PLG) team focused on driving growth through product experiments. They measure success through their ability to drive new customers, and ultimately aim to empower customers to make purchasing decisions with ease.

  • Drive top of funnel performance for When I Work, including responsibility for growing the volume of trials, re-engaging our customers and constantly improving our customer's interest and understanding of our products
  • Lead the design, tracking, and communication of the product experiments to drive user acquisition.
  • Work closely with Marketing to identify new experiments to drive top of funnel acquisition efforts
  • Oversee the product development process for a product including market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements, development, and product launch.
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to know our customers, validate their needs and understand how they are using our products.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of both customer and business requirements
  • Communicate and maintain the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your team's current and future product experiments
  • Communicate product vision and priorities to internal teams including Engineering, Customer care, Sales, Marketing and Success.
Who You Are

You are a curious and impact driven individual who is drawn to driving growth through resilient and creative product experiments while partnering with stakeholders across the company. You have product management experience on a growth team and are eager to learn, iterate, measure and deliver exceptional results.

Experience and Skills Needed
  • 5-8 years experience in product management, product development, product design or similar field
  • Experience working on a Growth team that is focused on a product that is targeted to an end customer.
  • Experience developing strategy, executing against it, and delivering measurable results.
  • Experience in defining experiments, setting success criteria and working with Marketing to drive successful outcomes in user experience
  • Strong analytical abilities (knowledge of SQL) to query, summarize large data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Have a customer-focused mindset, understanding user needs and translating them into seamless product experiences
  • Efficiently manage tasks, projects, and resources, ensuring streamlined workflows and optimal productivity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences and adapt to a variety of individual communication styles and needs.
