Business Development Representative
Overview:
As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, initiating contact with potential customers, and nurturing relationships to facilitate the sales process. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for generating new business and meeting revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation:

  • Research and identify potential leads through various channels such as cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking events.
  • Utilize sales and marketing tools, databases, and CRM systems to track and manage leads effectively.

Qualification:

  • Conduct initial contact with prospects to assess their needs, qualify their level of buying intent, budget, and determine their suitability as potential customers.
  • Gather relevant information about prospects' role and organization, businesses, pain points, and buying motivations to tailor sales pitches effectively.

Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects through regular communication and follow-up.
  • Educate prospects about the company's products or services, features, and benefits to address their needs and concerns.

Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to schedule meetings, demos, or presentations with qualified leads.
  • Provide sales reps with detailed lead profiles, background information, and insights to facilitate successful sales conversations.

Pipeline Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions, status updates, and sales activities in HubSpot/Outreach Salesforce CRM systems.
  • Track key performance metrics such as lead conversion rates, pipeline growth, and revenue generated from qualified leads.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales automation tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to exceed targets and achieve results.
