Position Overview:

Join our vibrant Toronto team as a Software Developer and be at the heart of pioneering technology solutions in the financial services industry. In this role, you'll drive innovation through software development, automation, data analysis, and web technologies, enhancing our operational efficiency and decision-making prowess.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Innovate and implement technology solutions to enhance work processes.
  • Automate investment analysis and property valuation through advanced scripting.
  • Design and develop cloud-based applications incorporating AI/ML technologies.
  • Lead in web development initiatives and data collection using Python for web-scraping.
  • Work collaboratively with the finance team on data management, analysis, and visualization.
  • Develop user-friendly data visualization dashboards for insightful stakeholder presentations.
  • Manage in-house software documentation and repositories.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Software Engineering required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with the Azure Cloud platform.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Python development.
  • Minimum of 4 years of full-time, professional experience
  • Proficiency in AI and ML technologies, cloud computing (Microsoft Azure preferred), and programming (Python, RPA, web-scraping).
  • Strong web development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, React, WordPress).
  • Solid experience with APIs, integrations, and building applications using OpenAI/ChatGPT's API.
  • Skilled in database management, data analysis, and visualization tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, critical-thinking, and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft software ecosystem (MS365, SharePoint, MS Power Platform).
  • Knowledge of real estate, finance, or investment sectors is a plus.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
