As the People Operations Coordinator, you'll be the ultimate champion of all things HR, supporting our incredible team members and ensuring our Club runs smoother than a perfectly executed play. In this role, you will be part of a might team of two, allowing you gain invaluable experience across a diverse range of HR areas while contributing to the success of our organization. This role is ideal for a new grad who is motivated to kick-start their career in HR and thrive in a fast-paced, stimulating industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Generalist Support:
- Be the go-to for our team members, providing guidance, information, and support throughout their journey with us.
- Keep our HR operations running like a well-oiled machine, handling everything from paperwork to policy inquiries with ease.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure everyone's on the same page and our HR initiatives hit the bullseye every time.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Assist in recruitment efforts, from job advertising to interview coordination, to attract top talent.
- Enhance our onboarding practices to ensure a seamless transition for new hires, both salaried and hourly staff.
Benefit Administration:
- Support the administration of Club benefit and pension plans, ensuring staff are well-informed and supported.
- Provide ongoing communication and training to employees regarding available benefits.
Requirements
Skills/Abilities:
- Possess at least two years of experience (or equivalent level) in HR or a related field, coupled with a Bachelor's degree or diploma.
- Demonstrate an unwavering passion for implementing cutting-edge HR practices and skillfully adapting them to our unique Club culture.
- Display a profound understanding of HR laws and regulations, ensuring fairness and compliance for all.
- Effortlessly handle multiple tasks while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Approach challenges with resourcefulness and creativity, continually seeking innovative solutions that benefit our team members and organization.
- Effectively communicate with warmth and empathy, fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Collaborate seamlessly with a diverse team, leveraging your distinctive talents and perspectives.
- Due to the utmost importance of Game Days for our organization, every team member is required to work all home games, in addition to regular core hours.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours when needed for projects and/or events.
