SUMMARY

A Labourer is involved in a variety of job scopes assisting ticketed tradesmen. This work may exist indoors or outdoors and may be physically demanding.

Location: CNRL Horizon - Fort McMurray, AB

Anticipated Start Date: April 30, 2024 - May 14, 2024

Anticipated End Date: June 30, 2024

Shift:

Pre Turnaround: 11.5 Hour, 10 & 4

Turnaround: 11.5 Hour straight through rotation

Accommodation: Camp available

Other: Travel Allowances (TAP)

Travel: Flights provided from Edmonton or Calgary

Hourly Rate: $39.75 (Inclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, pension, and education and training)

• Base Rate: $31.48

JOB DUTIES

• Comply with PSC and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards
• Assisting tradesmen in completing daily duties
• Sorting and selecting tools, as requested by journeymen
• Acting as fire/spark watch for welders
• General Clean-Up
• Load and unload materials as required
• Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings
• May perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working on an industrial site is considered an asset, but not required
• CSTS-09, CSO, or BSO
• OSSA Fire Watch is considered an asset
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License
• Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
• Able to work well in a team environment
• H2S Alive is considered an asset
• Confined space is considered as asset
• Fall Protection is considered an asset
