META is seeking a motivated and growth-minded Senior Accountant. You will play a key role in preparing financial information and regular reporting but with exposure to a variety of functions from AP and treasury to asset management and internal control management. What You'll Do:

You will be given the opportunity to grow and learn on a daily basis as you'll be involved in all areas of the department. You will perform the regular duties of a senior accountant such as posting and reviewing journal entries and preparing monthly working papers, however, as part of this team, you will also have the opportunity to provide input and help develop processes. Your input will be valued as we continue to improve how we do things and mature as an organization.

Key Responsibilities

•  Prepare monthly and quarterly working papers and post related journal entries to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Oversee the accounts payable function
• Manage weekly reporting including rolling cash flow forecasts and aging schedules to assist management in decision-making
• Work with the sales team to invoice customers and accurately record revenue in accordance with US GAAP
• Track inventory movement and asset values on a monthly basis

Minimum Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance
  
• "Can-do" attitude and problem-solving abilities
  
• Attention to detail and organization skills
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA designation or working toward designation
• Experience in project accounting
