Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Instrumentation Journeyman for petro-chemical plant maintenance based out of Airdrie, AB. This position is Monday-Friday, 8 hour days with an additional 1.5 hours of travel per day.
Techmation works on a variety of petro-chemical and industrial oil & gas maintenance projects throughout Western Canada. As a successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to work on full-time, long-term maintenance projects with well-established and reputable clients.
Requirements:
- Journeyman Instrumentation certificate with Red Seal
- Must have previous troubleshooting, calibration, valve rebuilding and general instrumentation maintenance experience working within Industrial Oil & Gas or Petro-chemical facilities
- At least 2 years of instrumentation experience on industrial maintenance projects
- Candidates must have valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive & Fall Protection, Standard First Aid – Level A or C with CPR/AED, and CSTS 2020 Fundamentals certificates
- Valid Class 5 drivers license with clean driving record
- Excellent communication and organizational skills is required
- Able to independently manage ones own time and workload
- Must have general computer skills and a good working knowledge of Excel, Word, & Adobe
