Brewers Supply Group, a subsidiary of Rahr Corporation, a family-owned global leader in the craft beer, wine and spirits industry since 1847, is seeking a dedicated Account Coordinator to join CanCraft, our Beverage Packaging Division. In this role you will oversee customer service and order entry activities to ensure that quality product is delivered to customer on time. This position provides customer service and project management support to maximize growth and profitability through organization, execution, and control for the successful and profitable completion of packaging production.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Some of the duties of an Account Coordinator at Brewers Supply Group include:

  • Receives and processes orders and artwork request from customers.
  • Confirms orders with customers including price, quantity, graphics and shipping details.
  • Guides customer through the artwork approval process working closely with prepress and suppliers.
  • Works with warehouse and Logistics team to attain packaging freight rates; ensures accuracy and timely delivery of quality product.
  • Maintains progress of all orders to achieve production milestones and delivery timelines; ensuring all tasks/projects are completed on time and in accordance with objectives and requirements of all stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with sales to offer best in class service.
  • Assists with communicating company's packaging value offering to customers.
  • Communicates monthly inventory reports to customers.
  • Responding to customer requests for information, project updates
  • Builds rapport with customer and internal team
  • Shares open sales order reports with internal/external suppliers and works to resolve any order exceptions. Communicates order exceptions with customer immediately as required.
  • Monitor account statements for packaging customer at time of order and communicate payment requirements on overdue accounts.
  • Monitors aged inventory levels and communicates with customer when applicable.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the company and its operational needs.

Minimum Education & Work Requirements:

  • Previous Customer Service experience in a print or packaging manufacturing environment
  • A degree or diploma from an accredited college or university is preferred but experience would offset the lack of a degree.
  • 2 – 5 years' experience working in within the packaging industry.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel)
  • Previous ERP and CRM system knowledge an asset.
  • Familiar with Adobe Acrobat, and Illustrator would be an asset.
  • Fluent in French (both written and spoken) would be an asset.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage difficult or emotional customer situations by responding promptly to customer needs, soliciting customer feedback to improve service, responding to requests for service and assistance, and consistently meeting commitments.
  • Proven ability to resolve conflict, maintain confidentiality, and be an active listener that is open and receptive to change.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage a load of competing priorities under pressure and within respective deadlines.
