JOB OVERVIEW:
The Maintenance Service Manager will lead and manage the maintenance team, optimize maintenance operations, and ensure the smooth functioning of equipment, vehicles, and facilities to support the organization's goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and direct maintenance service technicians in the delivery of maintenance work performed, ensuring adherence to safety, quality standards and procedures.
  • Create maintenance technicians' schedules ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Liaise with client representatives and third-party contractors to ensure service is provided in a timely manner, eliminating re-work.
  • Identify opportunities for improving maintenance service to client, internal processes, equipment and reducing costs through new strategies, technologies, or equipment.
  • Conduct regular equipment and vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Manage inventory and allocate resources such as manpower, equipment, and materials for timely completion of maintenance work assignments.
  • Manage client billing and create/track budgets.
  • Manage and monitor records of maintenance activities, work orders, equipment logs, maintenance schedules and expense reports.
  • Recruit, train, coach and performance manage maintenance service technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by promoting a safe work environment through safety training, investigate incidents or accidents and implement preventative measures
  • Other duties as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Excellent customer service and listening skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, ensuring conflict resolution.
  • Comfortable using MS Office programs & CRM software.
  • Ability to effectively analyze, plan, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Trades or technical designation required.
  • Min 5+ years related industry experience required.Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving abstract.
  • Acceptable security and criminal record check.
