Project Managers/Estimators play a vital role at Border Paving Ltd. Reporting to the Senior Management, the Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for the total project delivery of pricing, planning, execution and monitoring to ensure compliance with safety, quality, budgets and scheduling. To thrive in this position, the successful candidate will bring with them exceptional communication skills and an analytical thinking style that can handle negotiations and disputes with thoughtful consideration to the other side, ensuring a long tenured relationship with both customers and clients. A keen business sense is essential to the success of this position.

Job Overview - Duties and Responsibilities

You must have the ability to;

• Operate various sizes and weights of loaders at asphalt plants and gravel pits.
• Perform daily visual inspections and make minor repairs to the equipment if required.
• Load bins or truck/trailer boxes from stockpiles.
• Learn and adapt to new construction procedures.
• Work well with supervisors and coworkers.
• Work to our safe work practices.
• Work overtime if required.
• Carry out duties outside of this position on occasion.
• Must have valid driver's license.
