Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between client's business needs and technical solutions we design to meet those needs. You will work closely with client and internal stakeholders from various departments to analyze, design, and implement systems and processes that deliver value to our clients. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will have the opportunity to lead projects, mentor junior analysts, and drive innovation within our organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
   • Collaborate with client business and IT stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
   • Elicit and document detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases.
   • Analyze complex business problems and working with the Messagepoint Solutions Architect propose effective solutions.
2. System Design and Documentation:
   • Create clear and comprehensive detailed design documentation, including (but not limited to) data flow diagrams, process maps, and system interface specifications.
   • Collaborate with development and architecture teams to design technical solutions that align with business requirements.
3. Project Leadership:
   • Support the assigned project manager to lead and manage cross-functional development team to deliver successful system implementations .
   • Define project timelines that support the delivery of the project scope and meets project objectives.
   • Provide regular project updates to PMO and client stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
4. Testing and Quality Assurance:
   • Develop with client stakeholders, test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of the delivered solutions.
   • Support system testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
   • Identify and report defects, and work with teams to resolve issues.
5. Change Management:
   • Assist in change management activities, including user training, communication plans, and documentation.
   • Ensure a smooth transition from project development to production.
6. Continuous Improvement:
   • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in business analysis.
   • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or Computer Science, or Information Systems. A master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a minimum of five [5] years in a senior or lead role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing work packages within projects.
• Knowledge of Customer Communications Management (CCM) solutions and the communications industry is a plus.
