The production facilities in Florence, KY and Queretaro, MX manufacture and administer products for the NAFTA region.

Job Description

Software development for Electric Power Steering projects, including specification, design, implementation, integration and testing. As a Software Engineer, you will be part of the project team responsible for developing and releasing software for our customers in the region. You will interact and collaborate with a global network of engineers.

  • Execute software development through the project development lifecycle

  • Design, develop and test software components

  • Perform customer requirements analysis and drive technical clarification

  • Support integration of all developed units and components and generate a final software delivery

  • Integration, modification and configuration for EPS software

  • Analyze problems reported by testing and the customer, troubleshoot software issues

  • Perform unit, integration and system tests to validate software implementation and integration

  • Comply and fulfill Bosch software development process and industry development standards (ASPICE, ISO26262)

  • Contribute to software process improvement activities

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering

  • 3+ years of experience in embedded software development

  • 3+ years of working knowledge of software development processes

  • Experience in Embedded C programming

  • Experience with debugging tools (e.g. Lauterbach)

Preferred:

  • Experience with AUTOSAR architecture and configuration tools

  • Experience working in a safety critical systems environment (ISO26262)

  • Experience with one or more of the development process standards such as: Automotive SPICE, CMMI

  • Experience with vehicle communication and diagnostics protocol

  • Experience working with DOORS or any requirements management system

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills to work in a global organization
