Dock Worker (Forklift Operator)

Integrated Staffing is currently recruiting for a Forklift Operator. This opportunity is ideal for reliable and safety-conscious individuals with previous forklift experience who are comfortable performing physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment.
THE ROLE

• Begin the position performing general labour duties and manually putting orders together within a warehouse environment
• Handle and prepare materials and orders using proper handling techniques
• Safely operate a forklift as responsibilities transition toward more forklift-focused operations
• Lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 lbs
• Perform frequent bending, stretching, lifting and other physical activities throughout the shift
• Follow all safety procedures and company expectations in a fast-paced work environment
• Wear all required PPE at all times
• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous forklift operating experience
• Valid forklift certification
• Valid Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification
• WHMIS certification
• CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots
• Ability to safely lift and handle up to 75 lbs
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including bending and stretching for extended periods
• Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Clear criminal record check required prior to placement

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• $18.00/hour
• Ongoing full-time opportunity
• 40 hours per week:
• Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Monday: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
• Tuesday: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
• Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
• Thursday & Saturday : Off
• Friday: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
• Opportunity to transition into more forklift-focused duties as experience is gained
• Prompt weekly payroll
