Material Handler / Forklift Operator

• Shifts: Full-time – Days
• Pay: $24.50/hour
• Location: Woodbridge, ON
• Start Date: Immediate – Temp to Perm opportunity

We are hiring experienced Material Handlers / Forklift Operators for a busy, high-volume warehouse in Woodbridge. You will handle a wide range of products for multiple clients, from e-commerce orders to palletized freight, in a system-driven environment using RF scanners and a WMS. Successful candidates must be safety-focused, dependable, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse with clear productivity targets.
Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach and/or electric pallet jack) to move, stage and put away product
• Pick, pack and stage B2B and e-commerce orders accurately using RF scanners and the WMS
• Receive and verify inbound shipments against documentation; report shortages or damage
• Put away product into designated racking locations and maintain location accuracy
• Load and unload trailers and containers, including floor-loaded containers
• Support kitting, co-packing, labelling and returns processing as needed
• Shrink-wrap, label and secure pallets for shipping
• Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets
• Complete daily forklift pre-use inspections and follow all safety procedures
• Keep work areas clean, organized and safe; assist with other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience (distribution centre preferred)
• 2+ years of experience operating a forklift
• Valid forklift certification meeting Ontario safety requirements
• Experience using RF scanners and a WMS
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and remain on your feet for a full shift
• Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and attention to detail
• CSA-approved steel-toe safety shoes
• Reliable transportation to Woodbridge
• Candidates must meet all minimum requirements to be considered

Preferred Equipment Experience Experience operating one or more of the following:

• Counterbalance, gas or electric
• Reach truck
• Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ)
• Cherry Picker / Order Picker
• RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
