Forklift Operator

• Shifts:Full-time – Day
• Pay: $22.00/hour
• Location: Woodbridge, ON
• Start Date: Immediate – Temp to Perm opportunity

We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a busy warehouse in Woodbridge. You will move, stage and load product for multiple clients in a fast-paced distribution environment. Successful candidates must be safety-focused, dependable, and confident operating equipment in busy aisles and dock areas.
Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move and stage product
• Load and unload trailers and containers accurately and efficiently
• Put away and retrieve pallets from racking locations
• Stage outbound orders in the correct dock or lane
• Inspect pallets and product for damage and report issues
• Shrink-wrap and secure pallets for shipping
• Complete daily forklift pre-use inspections and log any equipment issues
• Follow all warehouse safety rules and traffic procedures
• Keep dock and aisle areas clean and clear
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience operating a forklift
• Valid forklift certification meeting Ontario safety requirements
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
• Experience loading and unloading trailers
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for a full shift
• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
• CSA-approved steel-toe safety shoes
• Reliable transportation to Woodbridge
• Candidates must meet all minimum requirements to be considered

Preferred Equipment Experience Experience operating one or more of the following:

• Counterbalance, gas or electric
• Reach truck
• Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ)
• Trailer and container loading

Additional Information

• Temp to perm opportunity with an established warehouse
• Full-time hours
• Weekly pay by direct deposit
