Industrial Sewing Operator - Full-Time

Location: North York, ON (Keele Lawrence area)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Hours: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial sewing machines, including single-needle, double-needle, and multi-needle serger machines.
• Assemble firefighter protective clothing and rescue wear according to job specifications.
• Read and follow job cards, patterns, and sewing instructions.
• Set up and adjust sewing machines, including changing needles and thread, replacing bobbins, and making basic adjustments.
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Work closely with the production team and Sewing Supervisor to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating industrial sewing machines.
