General Labourer

The General Labourer will support construction sites under the direction of the Crew Leader. The role involves loading and unloading materials, cleaning worksites, and performing manual excavation while using hand tools, power tools, and light construction equipment. Occasional local travel between worksites may be required, with opportunities to progress through skilled trades training toward Crew Leader responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Perform worksite cleanup and maintain safe, orderly construction areas.
• Carry out manual excavation tasks as directed.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and light construction equipment safely.
• Follow instructions from the Crew Leader and support daily construction activities.
• Travel occasionally between local worksites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in general labour.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manual handling skills.
• Basic hand-tool knowledge.
• Understanding of workplace safety and hazard awareness.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions.
