Weekend Sanitation

We are recruiting for a current weekend opening on behalf of our client in the Guelph area. The wage for this position is $27.03/hr. The shift runs every Sunday. This is not a student opportunity.

Job Duties:

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize equipment and work areas within a specified time frame.
• Complete sanitation work orders and paperwork as directed.
• Work at various heights and levels to reach all work areas.
• Scrub and work in tight areas for extended periods of time.
• Work in close proximity to food-grade chemicals, high-pressure hoses, and other sanitation instruments.
• Be proficient in the operation of machinery, including disassembly and reassembly of certain equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures while working (e.g., PPE requirements for chemical use, Lockout/Tagout).

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills - must be able to accurately express information concerning production quality and safety.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and possess good time management and organizational skills.
• Capable of frequent reaching, bending, stretching, kneeling, and crouching.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting (50 lbs).
• Must be able to use a handheld pressure washer for extended periods of time.
• Comfortable working at various heights (e.g., scissor lift, JLG lift, ladders).
• Comfortable working with a range of tools and equipment.
