Production Scheduler/Planner

18 month Maternity Leave Coverage

Responsibilities:

Organize, plan, prioritize, coordinate, establish and maintain production schedules for production optimization; Allocate work by work center/machine to ensure efficient use of resources to achieve on time delivery of product; Analyze and evaluate data, reporting results to management through charts and production reports; Assist in minimizing downtime and set up time, maximizing machine output; Coordinate and liaison with additional departments (production, sales, purchasing, shipping) for planning and production; Participate with physical inventory counts, set up and maintenance of inventory stock codes

Required Skills:

Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment in a scheduling capacity; Ability to understand/utilize process flow and machine capability criteria; Ability to negotiate process efficiencies and customer demands, to satisfaction of all stakeholders; Strong communicator, both written and oral, confident, decisive, able to deal with conflict; Demonstrated ability to problem solve; Highly organized and detail oriented; Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision); Highly motivated, energetic with high level of initiative; Strong time-management and problem solving skills with ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines; Ability to balance tasks and achieve positive results despite a large workload, varying demands and a fast-paced environment; Reacts positively to change; demonstrates flexibility and adaptability; Customer focused

Pay Range:

$60,000 - $71,000
