Punch Press / Dye Set Up Operator

We are hiring an Experienced Punch Press Operator and Die Setter with 1 year of hands-on experience operating and setting up metal stamping equipment, including Minster 6, Minster 7, and 30-ton Bliss presses. Skilled in die installation, machine setup, production runs, quality inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. Strong understanding of safety procedures, blueprint interpretation, and maintaining production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate punch presses, including Minster 6, Minster 7, and 30-ton Bliss presses.
• Install, align, and adjust dies for production runs.
• Perform die changes and machine setup according to production specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as required to maintain quality standards.
• Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of stamped components.
• Read and interpret production drawings, work orders, and specifications.
• Troubleshoot equipment and tooling issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Complete production records and maintain accurate documentation.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping duties.
