WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Experience
A law degree.
Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
A minimum of five (5) years experience advising entrepreneurs and startups, preferably from private practice at a major Canadian law firm
The ability to give a clear, business-driven answer under time pressure and stand behind it.
Comfort operating with autonomy. Our lawyers are independent by design and run their own mandates.
Specialized Expertise
Assist a variety of growth companies with corporate legal services including company formation, shareholders' agreements, private placements, corporate transactions, stock option plans, license agreements, terms and conditions of use and employment matters.
Comfortable representing Caravel at various startup related conferences, networking events and organizations.
Location
Toronto, Ontario. Remote elsewhere in Canada is also acceptable.
