Location: Guelph, ON

Salary: $35–$46/hour + Benefits + RRSP Matching

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday–Friday (6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, flexible start/end times)

Rockstar Recruiting is hiring an experienced Fleet Mechanic to join a road construction company in Guelph, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanic, ideally with a 310T license, to work on a diverse fleet of trucks and pieces of heavy equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a large fleet of heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
• Maintain and repair dump trucks, snow removal equipment, and other fleet vehicles and machinery.
• Identify equipment problems and complete repairs to support safe and reliable fleet operations.
• Collaborate with other technicians to prioritize maintenance requirements and complete repairs efficiently.
• Help ensure vehicles and equipment remain in safe, reliable working condition to support daily road construction operations.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 5 years' previous experience as a Fleet Mechanic, Heavy Duty Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, or Equipment Mechanic.
• A 310T Truck and Coach Technician license / 421A Heavy Duty Mechanic license is preferred.
• Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• Strong mechanical skills and the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and general mechanical repairs.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a maintenance team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks.
