Heavy Equipment / Forestry Equipment Mechanic
Location: Etobicoke, ON
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $30.00 – $50.00/hour
Overtime Available
Overview
Growing, family-owned dealership and service shop seeking a full-time mechanic to support and expand the service department. This role is ideal for someone who wants to help sell service, build processes, and grow the company long-term. You will be the only technician in the shop, working on new and used forestry and landscaping equipment (Bandit / Vermeer-style).
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and engine issues
- Perform in-shop and field service repairs
- Communicate clearly with customers and management
- Support service sales through quality work and customer communication
Requirements
- Heavy equipment, forestry, or construction equipment experience
- Strong diagnostic skills (engines, clutches, drivetrains)
- Comfortable working independently
- Valid driver's license
- Supply own tools
- Able to pass a background check
