DB Kidd Transport is seeking experienced Class 1 Winch Truck Drivers for heavy hauling and oilfield operations. Candidates from across Western Canada are welcome to apply. Work takes place in Fort McMurray.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate a winch truck in oilfield conditions.
- Load and offload shacks, matting, and heavy equipment using appropriate winching and handling procedures.
- Properly position and secure loads for transport.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Handle roadside repairs when safe and appropriate.
- Transport dangerous goods safely and in accordance with applicable requirements.
- Communicate with dispatch and maintain accurate logs.
Requirements
- At least three years of hands-on winch truck experience.
- Experience loading and offloading shacks, matting, and heavy equipment.
- Class 1 (A) Licence with Air Brakes.
- Valid safety tickets: H2S, First Aid, TDG, WHMIS, CSTS, and OSSA.
- Strong load-securement skills, safe work practices, and a dependable work ethic.
