Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the day-to-day activities of the service department, ensuring work is organized, efficient, and completed to a high standard.
- Recruit, develop, coach, and assess service technicians while building a collaborative, accountable, and positive team environment.
- This is a hands-on working manager position. You will spend time performing field service alongside the technicians, including climbing ladders, accessing rooftop equipment, operating from scissor and boom lifts while using fall protection, and working in attics, crawlspaces, ceiling spaces, and mechanical rooms. The role requires the ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and components weighing up to 50 lb (23 kg) without assistance, while working full days on your feet in Saskatchewan's winter conditions and summer rooftop temperatures.

- Required: HVAC/mechanical trades experience. You should have the technical background necessary to quickly earn credibility with and support our technicians.

- A strong interest in teaching, coaching, and developing technicians, with a demonstrated history of improving team capability.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including customer-facing experience.
- Strong judgment and the ability to make effective decisions in situations involving different levels of complexity and risk.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems. BuildOps experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks.
- A technology-friendly, continuous-improvement mindset.
- Valid driver's license and a clean, insurable driving record.
If you're an experienced service leader who wants to make a measurable impact-not just manage a department-we'd like to hear from you.
