Location: Surrey, BC Job Type: Full time onsite, temporary-to-permanent (initial contract period of approximately 4 months)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM The Manufacturing Production Coordinator ensures production schedules stay on track and customer orders are shipped on time. Success in this role requires strong organization, time management, and communication skills to effectively coordinate with multiple departments. Compensation
  • $65,000 annual salary (potential flex depending on experience)
  • Health & Dental Benefits are available after successful completion of the contract period/transitioning to permanent employment
  • RRSP match up to 5% after successful completion of the contract period/transitioning to permanent employment
  • 3 weeks' vacation

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and prioritize production workflows to meet customer deadlines.
  • Review and adjust schedules based on order requirements, resources, materials, and staffing.
  • Distribute and track work orders, ensuring timely completion.
  • Work with supervisors to monitor progress and resolve scheduling issues.
  • Report on production status, delays, and equipment downtime.
  • Maintain inventory of required materials and components.
  • Expedite parts production and coordinate delivery schedules.
  • Use inventory and production tracking systems; SysPro experience is an asset.
  • Provide lead times to Sales upon purchase order confirmation.
Requirements
  • 2-3+ years of experience coordinating schedules, workflows, personnel, equipment, and workplace safety.
  • Strong understanding of industry production processes, materials, and finished products.
  • Working knowledge of engineering principles and drafting practices, with the ability to analyze data, identify inconsistencies, and follow detailed technical processes.
  • Thorough knowledge of trade-related tools, equipment, materials, methods, and standard operating procedures.
  • Able to adapt to changing circumstances and make the right judgement calls in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; Syspro is considered a strong asset.
