Custodian / Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Custodian / Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment by performing routine cleaning and basic maintenance duties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Clean and sanitize offices, washrooms, break rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect floors and surfaces.
• Empty garbage and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Restock washroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Clean windows, mirrors, doors, and other glass surfaces.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and buffers.
• Perform basic building maintenance and report any repair or safety concerns.
• Follow all health and safety policies and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other cleaning and custodial duties as assigned.

• Previous experience as a Cleaner, Custodian, Janitor, or Housekeeper is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Good attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if required.
