Data Integrator / SSIS Developer with Python - Mississauga, ON - Fulltime / Long term contract-c2c

Location: Mississauga, ON

Duration: Fulltime / Long term contract-c2c

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts and data teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, flat files, and external systems, into target data warehouses and data marts.
• Optimize SSIS packages for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot existing ETL workflows, resolving issues promptly.
• Document data flows, transformation logic, and system configurations.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data integration process.
• Participate in project planning, estimations, and Agile development cycles.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Data Integration and ETL development using SSIS.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, and relational database design.
• Experience working within Capital Markets or Financial Services domain is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and BI tools.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
