Bevel Operator / General Labour

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Bevel Operator / General Labourer to support daily plant operations. The ideal candidate will assist with beveling materials, preparing orders, and performing general labour tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review work orders and prepare materials for beveling

• Operate mechanical bevel machines
• Operate flame bevel machine (bug)
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Clean and deburr materials
• Prepare and package orders for shipment
• Assist co-workers and other departments as needed
• Support shipping and receiving operations
• Operate forklifts and lifting devices when required
• Complete required paperwork and documentation
• Maintain cleanliness of plant (interior and exterior)
• Follow all health and safety procedures and report hazards
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

• Previous experience in manufacturing or general labour
• Experience operating bevel machines is an asset
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints
• Forklift experience is an asset
• Physically fit and able to lift materials
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Reliable and team-oriented

Working Conditions:

• Manufacturing/plant environment

• Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
• PPE required and provided
• Overtime may be required based on production needs
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime as required)
