Hollow Core Production Labourer

Alberta Precast is looking for mechanically minded, safety-focused Production Labourers to join our

Hollow Core team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with equipment, solving problems, and learning a skilled trade. We are looking for team players who take ownership of their work, support their coworkers, and want to grow with the company.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and clean casting beds
• Pull and position prestressing strand
• Assist with setup, operation and cleaning of production equipment
• Monitor slab quality during production
• Measure, mark and cut slabs from shop drawings
• Safely strip and stack products using overhead cranes
• Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning and maintenance
• Help troubleshoot production equipment when issues arise

What We're Looking For

• Experience in precast concrete, construction or manufacturing
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in equipment
• Ability to read a tape measure and basic shop drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Reliable, safety-oriented and willing to learn
• Positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day

Assets

• Hollow Core, prestressing or extrusion equipment experience
• Mechanical, agricultural or equipment maintenance background
• Forklift or overhead crane experience
• Trade-related training or tickets
• • CSTS, WHMIS or other safety certifications
