We are actively seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join a reputable client's service team based in Surrey, BC.
This job consists of troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, and maintaining mobile compressors and industrial equipment at customer sites throughout the Lower Mainland and across British Columbia (frequent travel is required).

Some of the job duties include:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines, mobile compressors, rotating equipment, and related mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and emissions systems.
  • Troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain mobile compressor units in a field service environment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, including inspections, lubrication, fluid checks, cleaning, and component replacement.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems, including major engine repairs and overhauls when required.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure performance meets manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
  • Travel to customer sites to diagnose issues and complete service work safely and efficiently.
  • Build strong customer relationships while serving as the company's representative in the field.
  • Complete service reports, work orders, and repair documentation accurately and on time.
  • Utilize computer systems and service software for reporting and follow-up.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to occasional after-hours and weekend service calls.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of field service, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment experience.
  • HD Mechanic, Truck & Transport, Diesel Mechanic, or Millwright certification, or equivalent mechanical experience.
  • Strong diesel troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • Mobile compressor and rotating equipment experience preferred.
  • Industrial, construction, agricultural, or heavy equipment background.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in the field.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean abstract.
