Dimakos Insurance Agency, a growing and award-winning Desjardins Insurance Agency, is seeking a motivated, sales-oriented Insurance Account Manager to manage and grow an established book of business. The role balances sales and account servicing while focusing on personal lines and commercial clients. You will build lasting relationships, provide personalized insurance solutions, and collaborate closely with the agency owner through a combination of outbound prospecting, community networking, referral partnerships, and digital lead follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an established book of personal lines and commercial business.
- Build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Sell Auto, Home, Commercial, and Life Insurance products.
- Conduct policy reviews and insurance needs assessments.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, community networking, referral partnerships, and digital lead follow-up.
- Meet or exceed sales, retention, and customer service goals.
- Provide exceptional client service and support throughout the client journey.
- Maintain accurate client records and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Stay current on insurance products, industry trends, and market changes.
Required Qualifications
- OTL Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- LLQP Life Insurance License.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in insurance sales and account management.
- Experience with insurance sales, customer relationship management, and cross-selling.
- Experience tracking sales performance and meeting performance targets.
- Strong client communication and relationship-building skills.
