Order Management / Production Operator

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Order Management / Production Operator to help coordinate orders from the time they are received through production and final shipment.

This is a hands-on role that combines order management, production, inventory, and fulfillment. You will be responsible for entering and managing orders in our ERP system, keeping track of what needs to be produced, making sure production tasks are completed in time to fulfill orders, and helping complete the production and fulfillment work yourself.

The role involves a mix of computer-based order management and hands-on work such as pouring tinctures, labeling products, managing bulk tincture inventory, packing orders, and preparing shipments.

Because we are a small and growing company, the position requires someone who is comfortable managing multiple priorities and stepping into different parts of the operation as needed.

Duties

• Enter and manage customer orders in our ERP system.
• Monitor open orders and ensure they are completed and shipped on time.
• Coordinate with production staff to make sure products required for upcoming orders are produced, bottled, labeled, and ready when needed.
• Identify shortages or production requirements that could delay an order and help ensure they are addressed.
• Pour and bottle herbal tinctures and other products according to established production procedures.
• Label and prepare finished products.
• Manage and organize bulk tinctures and finished inventory.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Prepare shipments for customers across Canada and the US.
• Maintain accurate inventory and production records in our ERP system.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
• Perform routine quality control checks throughout production and fulfillment.
• Work quickly and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized production and fulfillment environment.
• Take on additional operational responsibilities as needed as the company grows.

What We're Looking For

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep track of many orders and tasks at once.
• High attention to detail, especially when working with orders, inventory, labels, and production records.
• Ability to recognize what needs to be done next and follow through without constant supervision.
• Comfortable communicating with other production staff and following up on tasks that need to be completed.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Comfortable working both on a computer and in a hands-on production environment.
• Willingness to learn our ERP and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to adapt when priorities change throughout the day.
• Comfortable performing repetitive production and fulfillment tasks.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift packages up to 50 lbs.
• Previous experience in order management, manufacturing, warehousing, fulfillment, inventory, or ERP systems is an asset but not required.
