- Approximately 2 weeks: Morning Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Followed by: Afternoon Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Regular schedule: Night Shift | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Coordinate daily dispatch and transportation activities to keep shipments moving on schedule.
- Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs) and forward documentation to the dispatch team.
- Communicate with drivers and provide support throughout their arrival and departure.
- Maintain professional driver communication regarding shipments, trailers, and operational requirements.
- Track orders and shipments and follow up on delays or issues.
- Support daily yard operations, including dock and trailer coordination.
- Communicate with internal teams to resolve transportation and logistics issues.
- Monitor emails and maintain accurate shipment documentation.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Dispatcher, Transportation Coordinator, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with dispatch and transportation operations.
- Experience working with drivers, trailers, docks, and yard operations.
- Strong driver communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Available to work the required training shifts and permanent night shift.
