TalentSphere is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established retailer in the GTA for a Paint Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable sales professional with strong product expertise and outstanding customer service skills who enjoys working with a wide variety of customers.
About the Role
We are seeking a Paint Specialist with solid product knowledge and a proven ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience with Benjamin Moore or Beautytone products and the ability to interact confidently with different types of customers (DIY homeowners, contractors, designers, etc.). Candidates who already have an existing customer base will be viewed as particularly valuable.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert product advice and recommendations on paints, coatings, and related products
- Deliver outstanding customer service to a diverse range of clients
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Achieve or exceed individual sales targets
- Maintain accurate knowledge of inventory, colour systems, pricing, and current promotions
- Assist with merchandising and showroom presentation as needed
- Collaborate with the team to create a positive and professional shopping experience
- Experience selling paint products, ideally with Benjamin Moore or Beautytone
- Strong product knowledge in the paint category
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with different types of customers
- Proven ability to build rapport and drive sales
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a retail environment
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work in the GTA
