Overnight Dock Worker/ Forklift Operator

Integrated Staffing is currently recruiting experienced Overnight Dock Workers / Forklift Operators for a full-time opportunity in Saint John, NB. If you have previous forklift experience, a valid forklift certification, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, we'd like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move, and organize freight.
• Load, unload, and handle freight weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Organize freight for city and line haul trailers.
• Receive and ship freight accurately.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and company expectations.
• Use proper freight handling techniques to prevent damage.
• Assist with shipment paperwork and basic dock administration.
• Perform physical tasks involving bending, stretching, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification with previous forklift operating experience.
• Previous dock, warehouse, or transportation experience is considered an asset.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada for a minimum of one year.
• Clear Criminal Record Check required prior to placement.
• Valid TDG certification required.
• Valid WHMIS certification required.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation is required, as the work location is not accessible by public transit.
• Ability and willingness to work the required overnight schedule.

What We Offer

• $18.27/hr + 4% vacation pay
• Full-time, ongoing opportunity
• Monday to Friday, 2:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• Weekly payroll through direct deposit
• Opportunity for long-term placement for reliable workers

PPE Requirements

• CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots are required.
• High-visibility safety vest is required.

Work Environment

• Indoor transportation dock setting.
• Fast-paced and physically active environment.
• Regular proximity to forklifts, trucks, and moving equipment.
• Exposure to loud noise, heavy freight, and varying temperatures.
