About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our client's fast-paced, people-first organization.
In this role, you will partner closely with restaurant leadership and a collaborative HR team to support, engage, and retain a high-performing workforce. What You'll Do
  • Act as the primary HR resource and trusted partner for restaurant leadership on a variety of employment-related matters.
  • Support employee relations, including performance management, coaching, counselling, conflict resolution, discipline, and termination.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and support the management of compliance and employee-related matters.
  • Administer and support employee wellness, engagement, occupational health and safety, and return-to-work programs.
  • Facilitate and liaise with third-party vendors to support Early and Safe Return-to-Work programs.
  • Support the administration of the Group Benefit Plan Program across the organization.
  • Develop, update, and support HR policies, procedures, training materials, and best practices.
  • Prepare employee correspondence and provide guidance to leadership on effective and legally compliant employee communications.
  • Conduct and support HR audits and ensure findings are communicated and addressed appropriately.
  • Ensure restaurant leadership has the tools, resources, and support needed to manage employment-related matters effectively.
  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and tracking tools to support trend analysis and workforce planning.
  • Monitor internal processes and legal compliance while identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and HR practices.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
