Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable LTL Cross-Dock Associate to join our client's warehouse and transportation team in Calgary.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an LTL freight or cross-dock environment and be comfortable handling inbound and outbound freight in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound LTL freight.
• Sort, stage, and organize freight within the cross-dock facility.
• Inspect freight for accuracy and visible damage.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
• Load outbound trailers and prepare freight for city and scheduled deliveries.
• Safely move freight throughout the warehouse.
• Report damaged freight, equipment issues, or trailer concerns.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with other warehouse and dock duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in LTL freight, cross-dock, transportation, or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Forklift experience is an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to freight accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
