Role Summary
The Junior Partner Launch Specialist supports the successful launch of new FISPAN bank partners from contract signature through pilot, general availability, and handoff to FISPAN's ongoing servicing and operations teams.
Working alongside experienced Partner Success team members and cross-functional partners, this role helps coordinate launch activities, prepare bank teams for operational readiness, verify production functionality, and provide a high-touch experience to pilot clients.
The Junior Partner Launch Specialist is responsible for executing established launch processes, maintaining strong communication across stakeholders, tracking milestones and risks, and helping ensure that client onboarding momentum builds from the point the solution reaches production through transition to ongoing operations.
This is an ideal role for someone who is highly organized, client-focused, technically curious, and ready to develop expertise in banking, payments, product launches, and partner management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate the Partner Launch Journey
- Support partner launches from contract signature through pilot, general availability, and operational handoff.
- Maintain operational launch plans, milestones, action items, dependencies, and target dates using established FISPAN launch processes.
- Coordinate meetings and post-contract workshops with bank stakeholders and internal FISPAN teams.
2. Develop Product & Process Expertise
- Build strong working knowledge of FISPAN products, client onboarding processes, servicing models, and payment lifecycles.
- Understand the key technical and operational requirements associated with launching and supporting FISPAN solutions.
- Answer common product and process questions from partners, clients, and internal teams using established documentation and processes.
- Know when an issue requires additional Product, Engineering, Implementation, or Operations expertise and engage the appropriate teams.
- Continuously build expertise through participation in launches, client implementations, testing, and internal training.
3. Support Post-Contract Operational Design
- Help facilitate post-contract workshops with bank stakeholders and internal FISPAN teams.
- Educate bank teams on established FISPAN servicing processes and expectations.
- Maintain and update service design plans and supporting documentation based on workshop outcomes.
- Track outstanding decisions, documentation, dependencies, and readiness activities.
- Help ensure pilot and general availability milestones remain on track.
- Escalate risks or delays that could affect agreed launch dates.
4. Support Production & Pilot Readiness
- Execute established production verification testing processes before pilot client onboarding.
- Document testing results and clearly communicate identified issues.
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Implementation, and other teams to track issues through resolution.
- Validate that required launch and readiness activities have been completed before pilot onboarding.
- Escalate production issues or readiness gaps that could impact the client experience.
5. Provide White-Glove Pilot Client Support
- Support pilot clients throughout installation, onboarding, and early production use.
- Provide responsive and professional communication to clients during the pilot experience.
- Help troubleshoot common onboarding, product, and servicing questions.
- Maintain clear ownership and communication until client issues are resolved.
- Capture client and bank feedback and ensure relevant themes are shared with senior team members and appropriate internal teams.
6. Support Client Onboarding Momentum
- Track pilot clients through the onboarding lifecycle and maintain accurate visibility into client status.
- Monitor progress against agreed pilot client and timeline targets.
- Follow up with bank and internal stakeholders on outstanding client onboarding activities.
- Help maintain momentum between the first production client, pilot completion, and general availability.
7. Execute Operational Readiness Activities
- Execute assigned activities within the operational readiness plan.
- Coordinate completion of training, documentation, support processes, and knowledge-transfer activities.
- Create and update training materials, process documentation, FAQs, and other operational resources using established standards.
- Track readiness activities and follow up with owners to ensure deadlines are met.
- Support change-management activities with bank and internal servicing teams.
- Identify gaps in documentation or readiness and work with senior team members to address them.
8. Support the Handoff to Ongoing Operations
- Prepare documentation and information required for transition to FISPAN Operations and servicing teams.
- Ensure open issues, client status, documentation, and outstanding actions are clearly captured.
- Participate in knowledge-transfer and handoff sessions.
- Track outstanding transition activities through completion.
Core Skills & Experience
Need-to-Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Information technology, or related field
- 1-3 years experience in Customer Success Management or related field
- Experience launching B2B or B2B technology products with financial institutions.
- Experience with production verification, user acceptance testing, or structured launch-readiness processes.
- Program and launch management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional implementations with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and deadlines.
- Client-facing leadership: Strong ability to establish trust and credibility with enterprise clients and partner stakeholders.
- Technical aptitude: Ability to understand technical products, integrations, production environments, and payment or transaction workflows without needing to be an engineer.
- Operational thinking: Ability to translate a product or technical implementation into scalable servicing processes, roles, documentation, and controls.
- Problem solving and ownership: Comfortable taking ambiguous problems, establishing a path forward, and driving issues across multiple teams until resolution.
- Attention to detail: Ability to manage readiness criteria, testing, documentation, risks, dependencies, and handoffs without losing sight of the overall launch objective.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in banking, payments, fintech, treasury management, or financial technology.
- Familiarity with payment lifecycles, ERP/accounting integrations, APIs, or embedded banking solutions.
- Experience designing or implementing customer support and operational servicing models.
- Experience leading pilot or early-access programs and transitioning them into general availability.
How Success Will Be Measured
Key measures include:
- Time to Revenue / Pilot Duration: Time from production readiness to successful completion of the pilot compared with the agreed launch target.
- Pilot Client Activation: Number of pilot clients successfully onboarded and activated compared with the agreed target.
- Onboarding Momentum: Ability to establish and maintain client onboarding velocity from initial production launch through general availability and operational handoff.
- Partner Experience: Feedback from bank stakeholders on the quality, responsiveness, communication, and effectiveness of the launch experience.
- Client Experience: Feedback from pilot clients on implementation, onboarding, product, and support experiences.
- Operational Readiness: Completion of agreed readiness activities, training, documentation, production verification, and knowledge transfer within target timelines.
- Handoff Quality: Feedback from FISPAN Operations and other receiving teams on the completeness, clarity, and effectiveness of the transition.

Compensation Package
FISPAN believes in an atmosphere and culture when innovation can flourish, collaboration and teamwork are valued and transparency is at the core of it all. We want our employees to see how the ideas they help generate today have an impact on how we do business tomorrow.With that, the hiring salary range for this position is $70,000-$89,930 annually; the base pay offered is based on comparable market data from companies of similar employee size, revenue and location. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive semi-annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
