Butcher / Meat Cutter Machine Operator

Reports To: Production Supervisor Summary: Responsible for operating and maintaining meat cutting equipment to meet production standards, customer specifications, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities: Ensure customer specs are met across all products. Operate the Marelec machine for portioning meat. Provide consistent supply of steaks to the packing line. Troubleshoot and adjust machinery as needed. Perform quality checks and complete required documentation. Trim meat by hand when machine is offline. Maintain clean work area and communicate maintenance needs. Follow safety policies, including LOTO procedures. Participate in ongoing training and improvement programs. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with production machinery preferred (especially Marelec). Familiarity with GMPs and food processing environments. Punctual, team-oriented, and detail-focused. Capable of working under pressure and independently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Working Conditions: Lifting up to 23 kg. Cold production room (-1 to +4°ree;C). Requires use of safety gear. Fast-paced and repetitive tasks. Overtime as necessary.
