Onsite work location
This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position at 5203 24th Street, Vernon, BC. You will work a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, 40 hours per week, with no regular weekend shifts.
About the Role
As an Electrical Inside Sales Representative, you are a trusted partner to our customers and a key driver of their success. You will build strong relationships, provide expert product support, prepare accurate quotations, process orders, and help customers find the right solutions for their projects. Working closely with our Outside Sales team, suppliers, and branch teams, you will anticipate customer needs, solve challenges proactively, and deliver an exceptional customer experience at every interaction. This role also provides support at the sales counter, offering personalized service to customers when needed.

What You'll DoBuild Strong Customer Relationships
- Be a trusted partner to customers by providing responsive service, product expertise, and solutions that help them succeed.
- Collaborate closely with Outside Sales to identify opportunities, support customer needs, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Prepare Quotes and Support Projects
- Develop accurate and competitive quotations while helping customers find the right products and solutions.
- Support project opportunities from quotation through order fulfillment, helping ensure projects stay on track and customers remain informed.
Manage Orders and Drive Accuracy
- Process customer orders, returns, and updates through multiple sales channels with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Monitor open orders and proactively communicate updates to customers and team members.
Support Branch Success
- Monitor inventory trends, identify product opportunities, and communicate stock concerns.
- Contribute to a safe, collaborative, and customer-focused branch environment.
- Provide support across branch functions as needed to ensure operational excellence and business continuity.
We're looking for someone who is customer-focused, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of customer service experience
- 2+ years of electrical, lighting, industrial, or related industry experience
- Working knowledge of electrical products and solutions, or the ability and interest to build this knowledge quickly.
- Experience preparing quotations, supporting sales activities, or coordinating customer projects
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems
- Comfort working with numbers, pricing, and order details.
- Strong communication, organizational, problem solving and relationship-building abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to creating an inclusive and respectful workplace.
- A respectful approach, with the flexibility to support different areas of the branch when needed.
