Mechanic

We're hiring a Journeyperson Mechanic in the mining industry!

• Full time position
• $49.26/hr
• 310T or 421A Journeyperson certification required

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mobile and stationary mining equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on diesel, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and low-voltage electrical systems
• Maintain crushers, conveyors, screeners, and other heavy mining equipment
• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication as required
• Complete maintenance reports, work orders, and other documentation accurately
• Use CMMS and diagnostic software, including CAT ET and equipment-specific programs
• Support hoist and shaft maintenance activities as required
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements:

• 310T or 421A Journeyperson certification
• Minimum 3 years of Heavy Duty or Industrial Mechanic experience
• Experience in mining, aggregates, or heavy industrial environments preferred
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics and heavy equipment repair
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical drawings
• Welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
