Industrial Security Guard - Class 5 Licence Required

Securiguard is currently seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Officers to join our team at the Co-op Refinery in Regina. This is a high-profile industrial environment where attention to detail, sound judgment, and exceptional customer service are critical to success.As an Industrial Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment while building strong relationships with refinery staff, contractors, and visitors.Position OverviewIn this role, you will be responsible for access control, scheduled and mobile patrols, monitoring security systems, incident response, and supporting overall safety and operational protocols. You will work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, high-traffic industrial setting.Shift AvailabilityWe are hiring for multiple permanent positions, with some working 7 on and 7 off rotating days and nights, specific shift packages to be discussed upon hiring. Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome and assist employees, contractors, and visitors while verifying identification and issuing access credentialsControl access at entry and exit points using electronic systems and physical checksConduct scheduled interior, exterior, and mobile patrols to maintain presence and identify risksConduct vehicle searches of contractor vehicles Monitor and document security systems, alarms, and CCTV activityRespond promptly to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and complaintsProvide first response support and coordinate with emergency services when requiredSecure doors, enforce site policies, procedures, and safety regulationsProtect client assets from theft, vandalism, trespassing, and safety concernsComplete detailed incident reports, daily logs, and maintenance recordsLiaise effectively with site management and internal security teamsMaintain a visible, professional, and customer-focused presence at all timesQualifications & RequirementsWilling to Obtain Saskatchewan Security Guard LicenseAuthorized to work in CanadaFirst Aid/CPR certification an assetValid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver's licence Clean driver's abstract (past 12 months)Clean criminal record checkClean shaven appearance neededStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficient with basic computer and phone systemsAbility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekendsPhysically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periodsPrevious experience in an industrial or oil & gas environment is considered an assetSkills & CompetenciesStrong situational awareness and decision-making abilitiesCalm, confident, and professional under pressureExceptional customer service and interpersonal skillsHigh level of integrity and accountabilityAbility to follow strict procedures and security protocolsLeadership mindset and problem-solving skillsWhat We OfferHourly wage starting at $18.50Comprehensive benefits packagePermanent employment opportunitiesFull uniform provided at no costPaid training and site-specific orientationContinuing education covered through Securiguard universityCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesSupportive and team-oriented work environmentDid you know?
