Job Description

The mobile boom truck operator is responsible for the distribution, loading, and offloading of our project materials, equipment, and tools. The job involves operating a stand-up crane with a boom stick that extends up to 92 ft. The ideal candidate must be certified and have experience operating a boom truck or crane.

Job Functions

• Site mobilizations; setup of equipment, load materials, load tools, and safety equipment
• Site demobilization: offload materials and return to the shop, offload equipment & tools
• Maintaining the crane and its proper safety checks, inspectors, and maintenance

Job Requirements

• 5+ Years of experience as a crane operator
• Boom Truck / Crane operator licenses 20-tonne capacity
• Knowledgeable of weight restrictions, operations of crane, and loading/offloading of materials & equipment
• Available for full-time and flexible hours of work
• Weight handling up to 45 kg (100 lbs.)
• Experience working as part of a team, as you will help on-site
• Experience working in the roofing or construction industry
• Effective and positive communication with customers is key. Professionally interact with them to ensure a positive experience and leave a lasting impression
